What’s new in Microsoft .NET 5

Microsoft’s first release candidate of .NET 5 has arrived, bringing the merger of .NET Framework and .NET Core one step closer to completion. The new unified .NET platform is due for general availability November 10, 2020. Microsoft has promised a second release candidate before that final production release.
